Marketing plays a key role in getting your business off the ground. Those that have been in business for a long time will agree, that "The more you tell, the more you sell".
Topping the list is direct mail, which is probably the most measurable offline form of marketing. Second is print advertising, which is notoriously difficult to measure. But both the third and fourth choices in the rankings are highly measurable: Web advertising/Web sites and e-mail marketing.
This is one of the most challenging choices. If you want to have an internet presence, then you must give marketing a chance to do its job for you. It won't happen overnight. So the minute that you build that website, it may be online, but it is not visible to the public. You must remember to set aside, enough for advertising with search engines. Making those keywords, do their work! That is the name of the game.
